Sambar Podi is the most important ingredient in making sambar.Only if the sambar podi is good, the sambar would taste well.As the sambar ia made up of toor dal,we need not add too much dals(urad dal, channa dal, toor dal) while preparing sambar podi.Too much of dal in the podi makes the sambar very thick like a porridge. So,reduce the dal while making sambar podi or completely omit them.Follow these simple steps and make your own homemade Sambar Podi.
