1 1/2 cup all purpose flour(maida)
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp pepper
Salt to taste
Baking soda (a pinch)
Oil for deep frying
Chop the onions and green chillies finely.
Mix the flour,onions,chillies,pepper,ghee,baking soda,salt with water to make a stiff dough.Let it rest for 20 mins.
Make small balls out of the dough.
Roll out the ball into thin circle.
Using a knife or a cutter,make diamond shaped pieces out of it.
Heat oil in kadai,when heated add the diamond cuts one by one.
Cook on low flame until they turn light brown.
Drain the excess oil using a kitchen paper.
Serve these Diamond cuts as evening snack for kids.
