2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp sesame oil
Salt to taste
METHOD
Heat oil in cooker.add the chopped shallots and mutton.
Add turmeric powder and saute for 2 mins on low flame.
Add the chilli powder, mutton masala powder, ginger garlic paste and mix them well with the mutton, saute for 2 more mins on low flame.
Add coconut milk, salt and bring to boil on high flame.
When it boils, close the cooker with its lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles on high flame, then simmer the flame to low and cook for 15 mins.
Open the lid when the pressure is released completely.
Simmer for few more minutes without the lid for the gravy to thicken.Serve the Mutton kulambu with parota, dosai, idly or steamed rice.
