Sweet rice sevai is an easy recipe with just three steps.These sevai can be made with palm sugar,jaggery or sugar.All sevai variety recipes are easy to make but making the Sevai/Idiyappam needs patience and involves lot of process.We can also use the Instant Idiyappam from the stores but homemade Idiyappams are soft,yummy,hygienic and healthy too.Click here for Sevai / Idiyappam recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 3-4
8 homemade Sevai / Idiyappams
2 tbsp grated coconut
1/2 tbsp ghee
7 cashews
2 cardamoms
1/2 cup sugar
METHOD
Heat ghee in a pan,add the cashews,cardamom and roast until the cashews turn orange in color on low flame.
Switch off the flame and add the sevai.
Add the sugar,grated coconut to the Sevai.
Mix them well.
Sweet rice sevai is ready to serve now.
