Milkshakes are always very easy,simple and quick to make at home with just three ingredients the fruit,milk and sugar.But there are lot of variations we can do to make the milkshakes more rich and tasty.A pinch of cinnamon powder or cardamom powder gives very good flavour and adding ice creams or nuts makes them more delicious to taste.
I have posted a very simple Apple milkshake recipe that most of us make at home.A very healthy milkshake that can be served along with morning breakfast.
1/2 apple (chopped)
250 ml chilled milk
1 tbsp sugar/ honey
PREPARATION TIME : 10 MINS
SERVES : 1 CUP
Wash and peel the skin of the apple.Chop them to small pieces.
Add 1/4 cup of milk.
Add 1 tbsp of sugar.
Blend the apple,sugar and milk for 30 secs on low speed,then add the rest of the milk and blend for a min to a smooth puree or until they turn frothy.
Serve the Apple milkshake immediately.
TAKE CARE TIPS
I used full cream milk we can also use skimmed milk.
We can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream while blending.
