Sprouted legumes are an excellent source of protein,fiber and vitamins,they provide us with complete nutrition.During this sprouting there is an increase in nutrients than the dried beans.
Sprouted legumes are extremely inexpensive method of obtaining all the essential nutrients and enzymes.They are highly beneficial food for weight loss too.
Salads are very healthy foods.When these salads are prepared with sprouts,the nutritional value increases.Adding veggies,fruits increases the taste and their nutritional values.
SOAKING AND GERMINATION TIME : 12-13 HOURS
PREPARATION TIME : 10 MINS
SERVES : 2
INGREDIENTS
1 fistful Green gram / Moong dhal
1 fistful pomegranate
1 tbsp honey
8 raisins
2 dried fig
METHOD
The seeds should be thoroughly washed and soaked in water for 5 hours.Drain the water and spread them in a clean cloth.
Wrap the cloth and hang them for 8 hours.You can see them start germinating and becomes sprouted legumes.
Take all the ingredients and chop the dried fig into small pieces.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Healthy salad is ready to serve now.
