Unlike Vegetarian foods,Non-Vegetarian foods are always easy to make .With just few ingredients one could bring such delicious gravies,kulambu,starters and many more.I would like to share one such easy kulambu recipe with just 3 main ingredients mutton,green chilies and shallots .Green chilies gives a nice flavor and taste to the kulambu.
A very simple mutton kulambu recipe especially for newbie cooks and bachelors,it goes well only with steamed rice but you may also try them with Idly and Dosai.
PREPARATION TIME : 10 MINS
COOKING TIME : 12-15 MINS
SERVES :2-3
INGREDIENTS
250 g mutton
20 shallots
5-7 green chilies
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp oil
1 & 1/2 cup water or as required
Salt to taste
METHOD
Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add the shallots and choppeed green chilies saute for a minute on medium flame.
Add the mutton pieces,turmeric powder and saute well for 3 mins on medium flame.
Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles on high flame.Then simmer the flame to low and cook for 12 mins.Mutton kulambu will be ready now.
Serve the Mutton kulambu with steamed rice.
Looks very delicious!

The recipe seems very similar to the way I make mutton angaara, but mine MA is very spicy and hot. Your kulambu looks very good and I will definitely try this out. .also with steamed jeera rice or dosa. Thanks for sharing. Happy writing more 🙂

Doesnt this menu require ginger and garlic paste? you have used the long chilli are they good for a spicy flavor or should we use another variety of green chilli like birds eye chilli or the gundu variety?
