Lemon pickle

lemon pickle

Pickles are a must accompaniment for curd rice especially during summer season.I have posted a simple lemon pickle recipe with green chilies , sun dried for few days then tempered with mustard seeds and hing.An easy pickle recipe every newbie cooks should try at home.
This recipe doesn’t require much oil ,just 2 tbsp of sesame oil would be enough to make them.During summer, I make curd rice often but I don’t serve them with pickles all the time.Instead I make lot of kootu varieties with summer veggies to keep the lunch light and healthy. So you can make these pickles and use them may be once or twice a week and indulge more on fruits and vegetables to keep your family healthy with good nutrition.
