Ginger Cardamom Tea is a traditional chai recipe of every Indian homes,it is made from tea powder or tea leaves with ginger and cardamom.This is a milk based tea with the dominant flavour of ginger and cardamom that makes the tea aromatic and flavourful.You can adjust the addition of spices as per your requirement.Very simple to make and a perfect beverage that gives you the energy to get your morning started.
PREPARATION TIME : 5 MINS
MAKING TIME : 7 -10 MINS
SERVES : 2
2 cups milk
2-3 inch ginger
2-3 tsp tea powder / tea leaves
Sugar as required
Crush ginger, cardamom and add it to 2 cups of milk.Now switch on the flame and keep it in low.
Add tea powder and let it the flame be low.
Let it boil for 7-8 minutes.Once it starts to boil switch off the flame.
Filter using a tea strainer and now add sugar.Stir well and serve hot.
Serve the Ginger Cardamom tea with your favourite tea time snacks or with just crunchy biscuits.

Always add sugar after the tea is prepared for tea powder absorbs the sweetness from the sugar .
Add spices as per your requirement.
Do not get tempted to increase the flame.
