An easy and rich sweet recipe with just 3 ingredients that could be made in huge batches in few minutes.I have already shared Thengai burfi/ Coconut burfi recipe,for a richer version some use condensed milk with lot of nuts and raisins.You can also use desiccated coconut that gives a good shape to the laddus compared to the freshly grated coconuts.Do try this simple yet delicious sweet at home and have a happy weekend ❤️

INGREDIENTS
1 cup grated coconut or desiccated coconut
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
A pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
Few broken cashews (optional)
METHOD
In a heavy bottomed pan,add milk,coconut,sugar and bring it to boil.
I have transferred the mixture to a kadai because of the white color of both pan and the sweet.
Cook in low flame for 12-15 mins.The mixture will become gooey once the sugar starts to melt.Cook until the moisture evaporates and the mixture leaves the pan.When it leaves the pan add cardamom powder,roasted cashews and switch off the flame.Let it cool for some 10 mins.
Make small balls to make laddus.
Store them in an airtight container and have it before 4-5 days.
