PREPARATION TIME:10 MINS
SOAKING TIME(MOONG DAL) : 1 HOUR
MAKING TIME : 20-30 MINS
INGREDIENTS
1 cup rice flour
1 tbsp moong dal ( paasiparuppu)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp oil
1 cup water
1 tbsp GHEE
A generous of asafoetida
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
METHOD
In a wide pan,add 1 cup water,moong dal ,chilli powder,asafoetida,salt,oil and bring it to boil.
When it start to boil ,add 1 cup rice flour and mix well to form a dough.
Then add 1 tbsp hot ghee and let it rest for 10 mins.
Make small rings out of the dough .
Deep fry these rings and drain the excess oil using kitchen tissues or towel.
Store in an airtight container and it stays good for 2 weeks.
