Kesar Lassi

Kesar Lassi, a delicious drink with saffron, cardamom and curd. A natural coolant with all the goodness of curd. Use full fat milk to make the curd, for it makes the lassi more creamier and richer. Do not add milk or water while preparing lassi, it definitely ruins the taste. Use first quality saffron, I got this pure saffron from Kashmir. To make Lassi, simply blend everything in a blender or mixer. Use chilled curd so that you don’t have to refrigerate them later. Lassies could also be served as a dessert after lunch or dinner.

MAKING TIME : 5 MINS

SERVES : 2

INGREDIENTS

2 cups thick unsour fresh curd

1 pinch saffron strands

1 tbsp milk

2 tbsp sugar

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Almonds and Saffron for garnish.

METHOD

Prepare curd with full fat cream milk.

Soak saffron strands in milk for 10 mins.

In a blender ,add all the ingredients and blend for 30 -40 mins.

Creamy Kesar Lassi is ready now, serve them chilled.
