Rava kesari is the most easiest sweet of Indian sweet recipes.The only difficult part is to make them without any lumps.Such an easy recipe,takes just few minutes to make them but tastes really good.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup rava/sooji/semolina
1 cup sugar
3 cups water
2 cardamom
8 cashews
2 tbsp ghee
A generous pinch of kesari colour
METHOD
Heat 1 tbsp ghee,add the cashews and cardamoms.Roast until the cashews turn orange in colour and keep them aside.
In a pan add water,sugar,kesari powder and bring to boil.
Add 1 tbsp of ghee.
When it boils,reduce to low flame and add the rava slowly stirring continuously to avoid lumps formation.
Switch off the stove when the rava is cooked and has watery consistency to avoid them from getting hard later.
Now add the roasted cashews and cardamom to cooked rava and serve hot.
