Kesar Pista Cookies are sweet, rich ,bright hued cookies that makes it a perfect addition for every special celebrations at home. The blend of saffron and pista makes it more flavorful with crunchy toppings. You can also add assorted nuts but i like the combo of yellow cookies with crushed green pistachios.
I love all sorts of cookies particularly the soft, powdery and cookies that just melts in my mouth.Bake the cookies for 15 min or until lightly colored at the edges. It might still seem soft when out of the oven but turns crunchy on cooling.
You can make these a day prior for they stay fresh and delicious even the next few days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
These crunchy treats make an excellent evening snack for kids, they are still light despite their richness.Serve these cookies with a hot glass of milk.
